Bourbon Walnut Pie

- 1-1/2 cups ground graham crackers (about 9 whole graham crackers)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 5 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

- 1 cup walnuts, toasted, chopped (divided)
- 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
- 3/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 3 Tbsp bourbon
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- .
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- For crust:
Preheat oven to 325° F. Mix ground graham crackers and 2 tablespoons sugar in medium bowl. Add melted butter; stir until well blended. Press crust onto bottom and up sides of 9-inch diameter glass pie dish. Bake until crust is set and beginning to brown, about 15 minutes. Remove crust from oven; sprinkle 1/4 cup chocolate chips over bottom of crust. Let stand 3 minutes to soften. Using back of spoon, spread chocolate over bottom and up sides of crust. Chill 15 minutes to set chocolate. Maintain oven temperature.
- For filling:
Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts and 1/4 cup chocolate chips over bottom of crust. Whisk brown sugar and next 6 ingredients in medium bowl to blend. Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle remaining walnuts over filling.
- Bake pie until filling is set in center, about 37 minutes. Cool pie completely on rack. Cut into wedges and serve with whipped cream.
