Recipe Introduction
"As far as I'm concerned, ultimate chicken satisfaction is found in crunchy wing tips, that close-to-the-bone meat roasted here in a double-whammy, zippy, salty-sweet combination. Add a couple of tablespoons of hot sauce for a spicy version."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 2 pounds chicken wings, separated at the joints
â—¦ 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
â—¦ 2 teaspoons coarse salt
â—¦ ¼ cup Dijon mustard
â—¦ ¼ cup honey
â—¦ ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375° F, with the rack in the center position. In a bowl, toss the wings with the oil and salt and transfer to a baking sheet, spreading them out for even baking. Bake for 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the mustard, honey, and white pepper. Brush the wings with the glaze. Return the wings to the oven and continue baking for 15 minutes, turning and glazing the wings a few times. Increase the heat to 400° F and bake until golden, about 10 minutes more. Serve hot from the oven or at room temperature.
