Mushroom and Cheese Pizzas

- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/3 lb. mushrooms, ends trimmed, cleaned and thinly sliced
- 1 medium clove garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 tsp dried basil, crushed
- 4 (6-inch) packaged Italian bread crusts (such as Boboli)
- 1-1/3 cups tomato sauce, preferably flavored with mushrooms and black olives
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms, garlic and basil; sauté until the mushrooms have softened, about 5 minutes.
- Place the bread crusts on a large baking sheet. Spread each crust with 1/3 cup tomato sauce and top with the mushrooms. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in a preheated 450º F oven for 10 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
