List of Ingredients
- 2 cups Bisquick
- 1 cup sour cream
- ¼ cup lemon-lime soda (such as 7-Up or Sprite)
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F.
- In a large bowl, combine Bisquick and sour cream using a pastry blender. Add soda, a little at a time, and mix with a fork until dough forms a ball.
- Turn dough out onto floured surface, and knead to incorporate. Add additional Bisquick as needed until dough is no longer sticky. With a floured rolling pin, roll dough to about ½-inch thickness.
- Cut out biscuits using a round biscuit cutter, or rim of a juice glass. (Dipping your biscuit cutter into flour before cutting will help prevent it from sticking.)
- Dip both sides of each biscuit into melted butter, then place close together in 10- to 12-inch cast-iron skillet. Bake 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve right from the skillet.
