    Land of Enchantment Salsa

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 onions, chopped
    • 5 large garlic cloves, minced
    • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
    • 2 (16-oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
    • 1 (10-oz.) can chopped hot green chiles (or 10 large fresh chiles, roasted, peeled, and chopped)
    • 3 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Saute onions and garlic in oil until soft. Add tomatoes and chiles and simmer until thick. Add cumin and salt to taste. Cool and serve. Freezes well.

      Makes about 6 cups.
