7-Layer Salad

List of Ingredients
- 1½ cups mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 2 cups chopped tomatoes
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 cups frozen peas, defrosted
- 1½ cups Cheddar cheese cubes
- 1 English cucumber, chopped
- ½ cup shredded Cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, salt, and vinegar. Set aside.
- In a large glass bowl or trifle dish, layer the remaining ingredients, with the exception of the shredded cheese and bacon, in the order listed.
- Spread reserved dressing over the top. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 3 hours.
Top with shredded cheese and bacon crumbles and serve!
