Green Goddess Dressing

"I love goddess dressing, with its salty, herbaceous tang. As a child, I had no idea that saltiness came from the dreaded anchovy! My advice to you is to serve the dressing and don't mention the anchovies."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 1 cup mayonnaise
â—¦ 1 tablespoon anchovy paste or mashed anchovy fillets
â—¦ 3 tablespoons minced chives or scallions
â—¦ 2 tablespoons minced parsley
â—¦ Pinch of garlic powder
â—¦ 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
â—¦ 3 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
â—¦ ½ cup heavy cream
â—¦ Sea salt or kosher salt to taste
â—¦ Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Recipe
Put all the ingredients in a medium-size mixing bowl or blender. Whisk vigorously until smooth and fully blended or process in the blender for 20 to 30 seconds. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes prior to serving to enhance the flavor.
Makes 1 ¾ cups
