Old-Fashioned Coleslaw

List of Ingredients
- 1 large cabbage, cored and shredded (8 cups)
- 1 carrot, peeled and shredded
- ¼ cup sliced green onions (including 1 inch of the green part)
- 3 Tbsp cider vinegar
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp celery seed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot and green onions. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar, mayonnaise, sugar, dry mustard and celery seed. Stir to blend. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture, and stir well to coat. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
