Cocktail Sauce for Shrimp

Recipe Introduction
"This recipe is exactly the same one (if you don't count the oil) that I got from my mother fifty years ago. I've tasted dozens and dozens of versions at countless buffets, but this one is still the zestiest without burning your mouth. This recipe makes enough for about one pound of shrimp."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ â…“ cup chili sauce
â—¦ â…“ cup catsup
â—¦ 3 tablespoons bottled grated horseradish
â—¦ 4 tablespoons lemon juice
â—¦ 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
â—¦ Shake or two hot pepper sauce
â—¦ 1 tablespoon oil (optional)
Recipe
Combine all the ingredients and mix well.
Makes 1 cup plus
• Note: The oil takes some of the sharpness out of the sauce; if you prefer it spicy, don't use it.
