Cream Sauce [For Vegetables]

List of Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter. Add the flour and salt; whisk.
- Remove from heat and slowly add the milk, whisking constantly.
- Return to heat and simmer for a minute or two... serve over cauliflower, asparagus, new potatoes, etc.
Variation: To make a cheese sauce, just add 1/2 cup grated Cheddar to the mixture.
Makes 1 cup.
