Creamy, Dreamy Coleslaw Dressing

List of Ingredients



• 1/2 cup white vinegar
  
• 1/2 cup sugar
  
• 1/2 cup cream
  
• 3 egg yolks
  
• 2 Tbsp poppy seeds
  
• 1/2 tsp white pepper
  






Instructions



1. In a medium saucepan, bring the vinegar and sugar to a boil.
   
   
2. In a small bowl mix the cream and egg yolks, beating well. Stir the cream mixture into the vinegar mixture. Cook until thickened but do not boil.
   
   
3. Stir in the poppy seeds and pepper. Pour the dressing over chopped cabbage for coleslaw or on the vegetables of your choice.
   
   Makes 1-1/2 cups.
