Creamy, Dreamy Coleslaw Dressing

- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cream
- 3 egg yolks
- 2 Tbsp poppy seeds
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring the vinegar and sugar to a boil.
- In a small bowl mix the cream and egg yolks, beating well. Stir the cream mixture into the vinegar mixture. Cook until thickened but do not boil.
- Stir in the poppy seeds and pepper. Pour the dressing over chopped cabbage for coleslaw or on the vegetables of your choice.
Makes 1-1/2 cups.
