Tomato Gravy

- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions
- In a small saucepan on medium-low heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the broth and the tomato sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened. Whisk in the salt and pepper. Pour into a gravy boat and serve hot.
Makes about 1 cup.
Final Comments
This is a delicious gravy to serve over meatloaf.
