    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbsp butter
    • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 1/3 cup beef broth
    • 1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper


    Instructions


    1. In a small saucepan on medium-low heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the broth and the tomato sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened. Whisk in the salt and pepper. Pour into a gravy boat and serve hot.

      Makes about 1 cup.


    Final Comments


    This is a delicious gravy to serve over meatloaf.
