� 14 cups popped popcorn
� � cup cooked and crumbled bacon slices
� Parchment paper
� 1 cup sugar
� � cup butter
� � cup light corn syrup
� 3 Tbsp bourbon
� 1 tsp vanilla extract
� � tsp sea salt
� � tsp baking soda
Recipe
Preheat oven to 250� F. Discard unpopped kernels from popcorn, if any. Divide popcorn and crumbled bacon evenly between two lightly greased parchment paper-lined baking sheets.
Place sugar and next two ingredients in a 2-quart heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove mixture from heat. Stir in bourbon and next three ingredients.
Pour syrup evenly over popcorn and bacon, tossing with a lightly greased spatula to coat. Bake at 250� F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on wax paper to cool, breaking apart large clumps as mixture cools. Store in an airtight container.
Makes 13 to 14 cups
