- 2 lbs. okra
- 3/4 tsp salt
- Boiling water
Instructions
- Wash okra and cut off stems. Cut into 1/2-inch slices and place in saucepan.
- Add salt, cover with water and cook, uncovered, 15 to 25 minutes. Drain. To serve, season with pepper, butter and vinegar.
