    Vanessa Williams' Macaroni n' Cheese

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 Tbsp butter
    • 2 Tbsp flour
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp dry mustard
    • 2-1/2 cups milk
    • 2 cups shredded cheese (mild or sharp)
    • 1/2 cup Gouda cheese
    • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
    • 1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs
    • 1/2 tsp paprika


    Instructions


    1. In saucepan, melt butter and remove from heat. Blend in flour, salt and mustard. Add milk and heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens a little and is smooth. Add 1-1/2 cups cheese and heat until melted, stirring occasionally.

    2. Meanwhile, cook macaroni as directed. Drain and combine with sauce in a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese, bread crumbs and paprika.

      Bake at 375 degrees (F) about 20 minutes, or until nicely browned and bubbly.
