    Stock: Speedy Soup Stock

    List of Ingredients


    • 6 black peppercorns
    • 1 sprig fresh parsley
    • 1 clove garlic, crushed
    • 1/4 bay leaf
    • Pinch fennel seed
    • 1 (14-1/2 oz.) can chicken, beef or vegetable broth


    Instructions


    1. Combine the peppercorns, parsley, garlic, bay leaf and fennel seed in a tea infuser. Close lid; combine with 1 can broth in a small saucepan. Bring to simmer; simmer 15 minutes. Remove infuser; use stock as desired.

      Makes 1-1/3 cups.
