    Queso Blanco Dip

    From "Melissa's Southern Cookbook" by Melissa Sperka

    List of Ingredients


    • 1-1/2 pounds white American cheese, cubed
    • 2 cups heavy cream
    • 1 (4-ounce) can fire-roasted green chiles


    Instructions


    1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine the American cheese and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring, until the cheese has fully melted.
      Add the green chiles; mix well.

      Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or transfer to a slow cooker to keep warm.

      Makes about 4 cups dip.
