    Shortcuts: Quick & Easy Breakfast Tips

    * Mix yogurt with your favorite cereal and add diced fruit.

    * Boost your fiber intake with a whole-grain cereal, rye crackers and cheese, a bran muffin, or a whole-grain bagel with peanut butter.

    * Quick-start your day with a scrambled egg sandwich: beat 2 eggs in a mug; cover and microwave for 1-1/2 minutes.

    * Have tonight's leftovers for breakfast tomorrow.

    * Whip up a breakfast shake in a blender: Combine 1 cup milk (or half milk, half yogurt), a ripe banana, and a cup of fresh or frozen strawberries; sweeten to taste.

    * For a breakfast wrap: Fill a tortilla with fruit and cottage cheese, or with grated cheese and scrambled eggs (made in the microwave, as mentioned above).
