Broccoli-Bacon Casserole

"If you're looking to add a little green to your diet, this is the way to do it. Blanched broccoli combined with cheese sauce and bacon is one of my favorite side dishes to serve with chicken or beef."
List of Ingredients
â—¦ 6 cups broccoli florets
â—¦ 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
â—¦ 4 scallions, sliced
â—¦ 2 tablespoons whole milk
â—¦ 1 teaspoon garlic powder
â—¦ 1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
â—¦ 10 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 425° F.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli and cook for 2 minutes. Drain.
In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, scallions, milk, and garlic powder. Add the broccoli and stir until coated. Place the broccoli mixture in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Top with the cheese and bacon and cover with foil.
Bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for 5 minutes, until slightly golden. Serve.
