Broccoli with Gruyere Cheese

- 2 lbs. fresh broccoli
- 6 Tbsp dry white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 Tbsp melted butter
- 2/3 cup grated Gruyere cheese
Instructions
- Divide thick stems of broccoli by cutting from the flowerets down through stems to make thin stemmed stalks of broccoli about 1/2-inch in diameter. Peel stems and score ends.
- Cook broccoli until crisp but tender. Drain, and put in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Add wine to melted butter; pour over broccoli. Sprinkle with cheese. Place in a preheated 300-degree oven for 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 8 servings.
