    List of Ingredients


    • 8 potatoes, unpeeled
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
    • 1-1/2 cups sour cream
    • 1 can cream of chicken soup
    • 3 green onions, chopped with tops
    • 1/2 cup butter
    • Salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 cup crushed cornflake crumbs


    Instructions


    1. Boil potatoes and bay leaf until potatoes are done. Drain, cool, peel and grate potatoes.

    2. Stir together all remaining ingredients except 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup corn flakes.

    3. Put grated potatoes in a large, greased casserole. Pour mixture over potatoes and stir gently. Bake at 350 degrees (F) for 30 minutes.

    4. Add the remaining 1/2 cup cheese and corn flakes to the top. Bake another 10 to 15 minutes.

      Great for potlucks.
