Down-South Creamy Coleslaw

List of Ingredients
- ¾ cup mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp sweet onion, grated and juice reserved
- 2 to 3 Tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- ¼ tsp celery seed
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup peeled and shredded carrots
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients, except cabbage and carrots. Add cabbage and carrots; toss to mix. Chill for at least 2 hours, stirring once or twice while coleslaw chills. Stir well again at serving time.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
