    Green Beans with Parsley Butter

    • 2 lbs. green beans (tender young ones, if possible), washed and trimmed
    • 3 Tbsp butter, melted
    • 2 Tbsp snipped fresh parsley
    • Cracked black pepper


    Instructions


    1. Cook the fresh green beans, covered, in 1-1/2 quarts of salted boiling water for 15 to 20 minutes or until crisp-tender.

    2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and parsley; pour over beans. Toss gently to coat. Sprinkle cracked black pepper over top. Serve immediately.

      Makes 8 servings.
