    Maple Sugar Acorn Squash

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 acorn squash, cut in half and seeded
    • 1/2 cup maple sugar (or syrup)
    • 2 Tbsp butter


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven to 350 degrees (F). Place squash, cut side down, in a baking pan and bake until fork tender (20 to 30 minutes).

    2. Turn squash over and fill each cavity with 2 tablespoons maple sugar or syrup and 2 teaspoons of butter.

    3. Bake until butter melts and sugar starts to caramelize, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve warm.

      Serves 4
