Monterey Green Beans

- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 (9-oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
- 1 (4-oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 1/2 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Instructions
- In a saucepan, saute onions in butter until tender. Add beans, mushrooms, lemon pepper, and salt. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until beans are tender.
- Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for one minute or until cheese is melted.
Makes 6 servings.
