    Monterey Green Beans

    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
    • 3 Tbsp butter
    • 1 (9-oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans
    • 1 (4-oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    • 1/2 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a saucepan, saute onions in butter until tender. Add beans, mushrooms, lemon pepper, and salt. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or until beans are tender.

    2. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and let stand for one minute or until cheese is melted.

      Makes 6 servings.
