Tenderfoot Beans

List of Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 2 (15-oz.) cans baked beans
- 1 (15-oz.) can navy beans
- 1 (15-oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 (15-oz.) can green lima beans
Instructions
- Fry the bacon until crisp. Crumble and set aside.
- Separate onion slices into rings and cook in bacon drippings until they begin to soften. Stir in brown sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
- Pour the baked beans (including sauce) into a casserole. Add the onion mixture. Drain the cans of navy, kidney and lima beans and mix in, along with the crumbled bacon.
Bake in a 350-degree (F) oven for one hour.
