    My Steak Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

I got this marinade recipe out of a magazine about a two yr ago, and tried it once and liked it. I altered some of it yesterday and perfected my steaks finally. Here's my steak recipe for those who like to try new stuff.

    List of Ingredients

    Marinade ingredients
    4 tsp olive oil
2 tsp garlic powder or 4 garlic cloves finely chopped
    2 tsp water
    2 tsp soy sauce
    2 tsp worchester sauce
2 tbsp Montreal Steak seasoning (this stuff is delicious even by itself on steak)
2 tsp basil or rosemary (whatever suits your taste)
5 tbsp Teryaki sauce (or vinegar, if you prefer)

    Recipe

    Cooking Instructions
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat.
Once heated, add the garlic. If you use garlic powder, just stir for a few seconds until it browns. If you use chopped garlic, stir until it turns golden colored.
Add the basil/rosemary, the steak seasoning, soy sauce and worchester sauce. If you like, you can add 1 tsp ground mustard, and 2 tsp of ranch dressing at this stage too, but I don't.
Stir the above combination well for about 1-2 minutes.
    Remove from heat
Add the teryaki sauce (prefered) or vinegar and stir very well.
Marinade steak with the above combination for an hour or more. I like to cut one large slit down the center of the steaks so the marinade can get inside and marinade inside-out
Cook the steaks to your liking (I like medium or medium-rare, but if you like the well done, etc. go for it)
The above combination has a very unique taste, but it is delicious. 01/06
