Irish Oatmeal in the Thermowell

List of Ingredients
- McCann's Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal (made only from the whole grain of Irish Oats)
- Pinch of salt
- 2 C. boiling water
Instructions
- Around 9:30 to 10:00 p.m. (or earlier) -
- Butter lightly one of the Triple Thermowell Kettles.
- To this kettle, add 1/2 C. oats, salt, & water.
- Place lid on Thermowell kettle, fasten clamps.
- Remove Thermowell lid and light burner.
- Place kettle in Thermowell and replace Thermowell lid.
- Go to bed while your exclusive Thermowell cooks all night with the gas turned off.
- The next morning, your Irish Oatmeal will be hot and ready to eat!
Final Comments
* Some mornings we use Maple Grove Farms Pure Maple Syrup.
* No milk is needed because the oatmeal is so smooth.
* Lots of options - adjust to your taste.
