Anzac Biscuits (Australian)

1 cup rolled oats3/4 cup shredded coconut3/4 cup flour1 cup sugar1/2 cup butter or margarine. 1 tablespoon light corn syrup3 tablespoon boiling water. 1 1/2 teaspoon baking sodaRecipe
A wonderful cookie.Mix oats, coconut, flour and sugar in mixing bowl. Melt butter and corn syrup in a small pan over low heat. Pour boiling water over baking soda and stir to dissolve. Add this to melted butter mixture. Then pour all the liquids over the dry ingredients and mix well. Heat oven to 300. Cover 2 cookie sheets with heavy duty aluminum foil (dull side up). Drop teaspoonfuls of dough 2" apart on the foil. Bake 10-12 minutes, then remove with spatula and cool on wire racks. When cool stoe in an airtight container.
