    Dough:

    6 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 cup softened butter
    2 cup flour

    Filling:

    1 14 oz bag Kraft caramels
    1/2 cup evaporated milk

    Frosting:

    1/4 cup sugar
    1/6 cup evaporated milk
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Recipe



    Dough: Mix cream cheese, butter and flour well by hand to form a ball. Pinch off 48 equal pieces. Press up to rim of tart pans. Preheat oven to 350. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Carefully invert shells on rack to cool, then fill.

    Filling: Melt caramels in milk. Keep warm. Fill cooled shells, then top with frosting.

    Frosting: Beat until creamy. Frost tarts and top with ground nuts. These freeze well.
