Hungarian Potato Soup
List of Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 tbsp butter
5-6 red potatoes diced
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups milkRecipe
In a large pot, saute onion in butter until tender.
Add potatoes, salt, and 1 cup water.
Cook, covered for about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Blend the flour, paprika, and the sour cream until it's smooth.
Add this to the potatoes.
Now add the 2 1/2 cups of milk.
Bring to a boil and heat, stirring for a minute or so.
Serves 6
