Chef Doll's Black Cherry Steak

List of Ingredients



• 1 lb top round steak
  
• 1 tbsp butter
  
• 1-2 tsp "Jamaica Me Crazy" seasoned pepper*
  
• 1-2 tsp cajun seasoning
  
• 1 can black cherry soda
  






Instructions



1. Cover both sides of the steak with the JMC seasoned pepper and the cajun seasoning.
   
   
2. With a meat tenderizer, beat the seasonings into the steak.
   
   
3. Melt the butter in a hot pan and add the steak.
   
   
4. On high heat, sear both sides of the steak until well browned, 3-4 minutes each side.
   
   
5. Lower the heat to medium-low and add the can of soda. Cover
   
   
6. Cook the steak until the soda is reduced by 2/3 and the steak is as you like it.
   
   
7. Pour the remaining juice over the steak when serving.
