    List of Ingredients




    1.2 pounds of ground turkey breast
    1 large onion diced
    2 jalapeno peppers, diced - leave the seeds if you want it really hot
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/4 inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced
    1 tsp cumin
    1 tsp turmeric
    1/2 tsp oregano
    2 tbsp chili powder (I get my chili powder from an Indian Market and I wouldn't use this much of what they sell)

    1 can NSA diced tomatoes
    1 jar "HOT" NSA Enricho's Salsa
    2 pkg splenda (to cut the acid of the tomatoes)
    1/2 small can tomato paste mixed with NSA beef broth to make a tomato juice consistency.

    Recipe



    Brown the turkey breast, chopping it into small pieces as it cooks. Remove from pan. Cook onion and pepper until litely browned. Add the spices and cook for 3 minutes to release the flavors of the spices.

    Add the meat back and mix well. Cook for several more minutes to let flavors merge.

    Add diced tomatoes and enough of the "tomato juice" to get the consistency you want. Add the salsa. This salsa is extremely hot so use with caution. You may want to add some, taste and then add more if you want it hotter.

    Put in crockpot and cook all day. Even better the next day.

    Makes 8 - servings with free veggies and 2 oz Protein B in each.
