List of Ingredients
Pam**
2 cups coarsely chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped shallots (optional)
2 teaspoons Splenda
1/4 cup sliced green onion
2 teaspoons Dijon-style mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
8 Egg Whites
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
Recipe
In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet heat and sprayed with pam** over medium heat. Add red onion, shallots (if desired), and splenda. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes or until tender and golden, stirring often. Remove 1/4 cup cooked onion mixture and set aside. Stir green onion, mustard, and thyme into skillet.
In a bowl beat together egg white, water, and pepper. Pour into skillet. Bake in a 375 degree F for 15 minutes or until set. Top with reserved onion mixture. Cut into wedges. Makes 6 main-dish servings.
