    CHICKEN JALFRENZI "DRY FRY"

    List of Ingredients

    1.5 lb. chicken breast
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 chopped red pepper
    1 chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp salt free tomatoe puree or paste
    1 14 oz can salt free tomatoes - chopped
    2 cloves garlic
    1 tsp ginger paste
    1/2 tsp red chili powder
    1 tsp coriander (cilantro) powder
    1/2 tsp cumin (jeera) powder
    1 tsp cumin seeds
    chopped fresh coriander leaves
    garam masala
    chicken/vegetable broth for frying

    Recipe

    Cut chicken into cubes. Heat about 4 tsp. broth in a cooker or a pan. Add the cumin seeds and heat for 30 seconds. Add and fry the onion and garlic and ginger paste for 2-5 minutes over high. Add the chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, peppers and cook on medium for 5-6 minutes. Add the chicken and garam masala. Fry gently for 5-7 minutes
    Add the canned tomato paste and simmer for 10-15 minutes with the cover on.
