    Spicy Sweet and Sour

    List of Ingredients


    6 oz. chicken, cooked and chunked.
    1 each onion, bell pepper, chopped into large chunks.
    1 1/2 c. pineapple chunks or tidbits if you prefer. Hold back juice. 1/8 tsp. Chinese Five Spice Seasoning (ginger included)
    1/4 tsp Crushed red peppers
    1/3 cup vinegar (I used rice vinegar)
    1/4 c splenda.
    1/2 c up pineapple juice from pineapple.
    1 tsp. arrowroot powder
    pepper to taste.

    Recipe

    After cutting onion and bell pepper, saute in frying pan(with water) until slightly crisp. Add Chicken chunks to vegetables. Stir in red peppers and Five Spice seasoning. Add more water, just enough to keep wet. Slow simmer 1 min. Add vinegar and splenda. Mix arrow root powder into small amount of juice, just enough to liquify. Add this mix to pan. Stir. Add remaining juice and pepper to taste. Simmer for 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to let it get dry. NOTE: The flavor can be spicy so you can decrease red peppers if needed.
