Mushroom Sauce

List of Ingredients
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion or 4 scallions, sliced thin
1 clove garlic
1/2 cup meat or veg stock
herbs of your choice to taste
pepper to taste
2 tablespoons white wine Recipe
Heat a large saute pan on medium high. Spray with spray oil and add onion, garlic and mushrooms. Cook until tender but not brown. Add herbs and pepper. Add stock and wine. Cook down until reduced or until almost all the stock is gone and the sauce is "syrupy" (or at least not runny). Keep warm until ready to use.
Serving Suggestions: I use this sauce anytime I need a quick meal. I often put it over grilled steaks, plain chicken breasts or even burgers (whatever the ground meat). I also like it over white rice or mashed potatoes.
