This lightly spiced honey glaze is easy enough for your family during the week or a special holiday meal.
List of Ingredients
Ingredients:
3/4 cup water
1 pound whole baby carrots
2 tablespoons honey Honey Sub 1 cup*1 1/4 cups sugar plus 1/4 cup liquid(use liquid called for in recipe)
2 tablespoons orange juice**
3/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
1/8 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Parsley Flakes
Recipe
Directions:
1. Place water in skillet. Add carrots; cover, and cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes or until carrots are slightly tender. Drain, leaving carrots in skillet.
2. Combine honey, orange juice, ginger, and nutmeg, In a small bowl. Pour over carrots.
3. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently to glaze carrots. Sprinkle with parsley just before serving
