This makes a protein/carb combo that is very tasty, individually wrapped, and a great grab and go food.
Prepare one batch turkey sausage - don't cook..Select several baking potatoes that are slightly larger than your normal serving size. Wash thoroughly. Using a knife or other tool, bore a hole lengthwise through the potato. You can keep these trimmings to use for hash or mash...Pack the hole tightly full of turkey sausage. Wrap each potato in foil and bake until done (tender when poked with a fork or gently squeezed).
