Manicotti Florentine
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 (10oz) pkg frozed chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 2 cups tomato or spagetti sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (8oz) pkg manicotti pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- preheat oven to 375
- In a lg bowl combine spinach, cottage cheese, & ricotta cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Blend well.
- Combine 1 cup tomato/spagetti sauce and water together. spread evenly into a 9x13 baking dish.
- Using a tsp, stuff each shell (uncooked) with equal amounts of the cheese mixture and place stuffed shells into baking dish.
- Pour remaining cup of spagetti sauce over the top of pasta.
- Cover with foil and bake inpreheated oven for 50 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Bake for an additonal 10 min or until cheese is melted.
- Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
