Rolls and Cinnamon Rolls

List of Ingredients
- 1 pkg yeast
- 4 Tbls sugar
- 6 cup flour, sifted 3 times (may not use it all)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cup milk
- 4 Tbls oil
- For Cinnamon Rolls:
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- Brown sugar
- Cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix milk and sugar. Scald and cool
- Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk
- Add oil and 3 cups flour. Beat until perfectly smooth
- Add remaining flour to make a firm dough.
- Let rise 30-45 minutes.
- For Rolls:
- Shape into balls the size of walnuts.
- Cover and let rise.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
- For Cinnamon Rolls:
- Roll out dough and spread with butter
- Cover with brown sugar and cinnamon
- Roll up jelly roll style from short side
- Cut into 1" slices
- Put in pan. Sprinkle with extra brown sugar
- Pour heavy whipping cream over rolls to a depth of 1/4"
- Let rise until light
- Bake 350 degrees 20 minutes or until golden brown
