    3 T butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 t. vanilla
    6 tart apples, sliced
    1/4 to 1/3 c. sugar
    1/2 t. cinnamon

    Recipe



    Cream together butter and sugar. Add egg and beat until fluffy
    Sift together flour baking powder and salt. Add alternately with milk and vanilla. Spread in 2 6x9" ore 1 9x13" pans. Top with apple slices. Sprinkle with remaining sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes. Frost if desired.
