    Double Treat Peach Pie

    1 c. sugar
    3 T. cornstarch or 6 T tapioca
    1/2 c. water
    1 T. butter
    6 large peaches
    9" pie shell, baked
    whipped cream, optional

    Recipe



    Mix together sugar and cornstarch, add water and butter. Bring to boil, dice 3 peaches and add to syrup. Simmer 5 minutes or until thick, cool. Slice remaining peaches in pie shell and pour cubed peaches and syrup mixture over. Add topping of whipped cream.
