    Graham Cracker Pie

    Crust:
    12 graham crackers, rolled
    3 T. butter, melted
    3 T. brown sugar

    Pie:
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    2 egg yolks
    pinch of salt
    vanilla
    1 pkg knox plain gelatin
    1/2 c. cold water
    2 egg whites, beaten stiff
    1/2 bar bakers sweet chocolate

    Recipe



    Mix all ingredients for crust and press about 2/3rds into a pie tin to form the crust, reserve the rest to sprinkle on top. Cook the sugar, milk, and egg yolks in a double boiler until thick. Then add the salt, vanilla, and gelatin dissolved in the water. Add the egg whites and chocolate. If desired, add nut meats.
