    4 Eggs
    3/4 c. Sugar
    1/2 tsp. Vanilla
    6 Tbsp. Cocoa
    6 Tbsp. All-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. Salt

    Recipe



    Separate eggs. Beat whites until stiff, but moist.
    Gradually add sugar and continue to beat until mixture is dry, shiny and stands in stiff peaks.
    Beat yolks until thick, add flavorings fold into egg whites, add sifted dry ingredients, gradually folding in gently and quickly.
    Pour thick batter in a shallow pan (15 x 10 1/2x 1/2 inch) which has been well greased, then the bottom lined with heavy brown paper, then greased again.
    Bake in a hot oven, 400 Degrees, for 10 to 15 mintues.
    Turn out immediately on a clean towel (linen), roll up cake (crosswise).
    Leave until cake is cool.
    Unroll and cut 1 quart of vanilla ice cream and place on the cake,. Re-roll and wrap in aluminum foil and place in the freezer until time to eat.
