2 c white granulated sugar
1 c white Karo syrup
1/2 c butter (1 stick)
4 T four
2 rounded T cocoa
1 c heavy cream
1 t vanilla
Recipe
Mix cocoa and heavy cream together to a paste and set aside.
Mix sugars, butter and flour well, bring to a full rolling boil.
Reduce heat and cook at a slow boil for 15 minutes.
Combine the cocoa and sugar mixtures and boil until it cracks in cold water.
Remove from heat and place pan in cold water.
Cool slightly (until you can put your hand on the bottom of the pan).
Add vanilla and beat until stiff.
Pour into a buttered 8x12 pan and cool.
