    1 c. shortening or butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    2 t. soda
    5 to 6 c. flour
    2 t. cinnamon
    3 t. baking powder
    1 t. nutmeg
    1/2 t. ginger
    pinch of salt

    Recipe



    Cream shortening, sugar till creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Add sour cream and soda and beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Let stand 15 minutes. bake at 375 for 10-15 minutes.
