    Chocolate Cookies with Green Frosting

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 cups flour
    • 1/2 tsp salt
    • 2 tsp baking powder
    • 4 oz unsweeted chocolate
    • 1 cup shortening
    • 2 cups brown sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 tsp vanilla
    • Ingredients for frosting - powdered sugar, milk, food coloring


    Instructions


    1. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder
    2. Melt chocolate and shortening
    3. Add sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla to melted ingredients
    4. Add dry ingredients
    5. Let stand 10 minutes
    6. Drop on cookie sheet
    7. Bake 375 degrees 12-15 minutes
    8. When cool, frost with green frosting
