    Peanut Butter Swirls

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup shortening
    • 2 cup sugar
    • 1 cup peanut butter
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 cup milk
    • 2 1/2 cup flour
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 tsp soda
    • 2 cups chocolate chips


    Instructions


    1. Cream shortening and sugar.

    2. Beat in peanut butter, eggs and milk.

    3. Add sifted dry ingredients (flour, soda and salt)

    4. Chill dough several hours.

    5. Melt chocolate chips.

    6. Divide dough into eight pieces

    7. Roll 1 piece between 2 pieces of lightly floured waxed paper - 1/8" to 1/4" thick

    8. Spread melted chocolate over the dough

    9. Roll up as jelly roll

    10. Wrap and chill overnight

    11. Repeat until all dough rolls are used up

    12. Slice and place on baking sheet

    13. Bake 375 degrees 8 to 10 minutes. Do not over bake.
