Rhubarb Rolls

List of Ingredients
- 3 cup rhubarb, cut fine
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 heaping Tbls soft butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 2 cup water
- 2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cream of tarter
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2/3 cup milk
Instructions
- For filling: mix rhubarb, cinnamon, nutmeg and soft butter. Set aside
- For syrup: Mix sugar and water. Boil until sugar is dissolved. Place half of syrup in 9x13 pan
- For biscuits: Mix flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tarter, 2tsp sugar, shortening and milk.
- Roll as for a jelly roll.
- Spread rhubarb mixture on dough.
- Roll up and slice into 2 inch slices.
- Lay in syrup mixture
- Pour remaining syrup mixture over rolls.
- Bake 375 degree for 30 minutes
